Brain Gym® and Educational Kinesiology were developed by US educators Dr. Paul Dennison and Gail Dennison. Brain Gym 101 is the first stage of training in Educational Kinesiology.
A programme of movement to enhance learning and performance in any area of life, Brain Gym has many applications within healthcare, business, the performing arts and sport.
Learn how to help yourself and others
This foundation course (which is usually spread over three to four days) introduces 26 easy and enjoyable activities that support seeing, listening, physical co-ordination and balance and can help with concentration, memory and organisation skills.
You will acquire skills to enhance your own personal development and address a range of learning, attention and behaviour challenges in others.
A safe and supportive place to focus on your own personal goals
As the course is customised according to the interests of participants it is suitable for people with no prior knowledge of Brain Gym and for those who have gained some information from an introductory workshop or from books.
It will provide an opportunity to learn by focusing on your own individual goals within the safety of a small group.

You will gain a clearer understanding of the body and the way it supports the brain. The course covers:
• History and development of Educational Kinesiology
• Core concepts of Brain Gym
• Your brain and its unique characteristics
• The 26 Brain Gym activities
• Goal setting and the Brain Gym five step approach
• Benchmarking the body and brain, anchoring
• Repatterning techniques and other balance processes
• How to apply what you learn at home, at school and at work
